Kenya/Trafford project

Involving young people in two Trafford schools, the Centre For Good Future girls’ orphanage in Kenya, Urbis in Manchester and the Contact Theatre, also in Manchester. Bringing in five other artists to run sessions, it became a highly localized engagement project that created powerful international links. This one experience grew into a year long programme linking girls from Manchester with girls from Thika, Kenya.
