Shaman's Wand

Research is a major part of my work and most of what I make is based on that research including the Shaman's Wand. I found a piece of wood whose shape appealed to me and after ebonising and waxing it with beeswax I wound it with cloth and hung it with amulets (small toys, beads, bells), nazars and animal bones for a contemporary take on a tradition artifact.
