A n oil painting on canvas. Hidden/ partly visible are fairies and figures in the background. I believe in fairies and the spirit world. Children generally do not fear the idea of fairies or elves. I love the fact that children believe if they cover their eyes that no one else can see them and the power in imaginative play. Currently in working with older adults I come in to contact often with people living with dementia. How fascinating/strange/scary or surreal it is to listen to people and hear where they are in terms of their thought processes fascinates me. How weird that a 96 year old adult can be looking for parents or talk about the school playground.
