Public art consultation for the Johnson Fold Estate. This is part of their regeneration programme, is funded by Percent For Art and commissioned by Bolton At Home, community housing and regeneration group.
This is an area of social deprivation, and slowly we are creating a perception that art in public can transform the environment in a very positive and beneficial way. Our next phase is to run a series of facilitated mini projects with specific groups who will create art as a gift for others on the estate. These will be filmed, run on Youtube, and then be part of a community arts festival.
