'WALKING WINTER WOODS' is an acrylic painting on stretched canvas measuring 73 cm x 60 cm x 2 cm,
I work in layers of paint to create a luminous surface, Layers have become significant in my current work, the layers of life, the layers in the landscape, and layers of emotion.
I painted this painting following a woodland walk, the milky winter sun emphasised some lines and diluted others, despite the trees being majestic, the light dominated, it was a wonderful walk.
