The young female has her first sexual encounter ,
Looking down the mouth of a canon has never been a good idea . This reflects my own notion of the sexual encounter with , in this case a male person . In simply being curious , she has put herself in danger pain results. She lost her head .. herein is a mini death of innocence .The ringmaster , symbol of the male dominated culture looks on as does the sympathetic trained dog the companion of the romantic sad circus clown
