Within, Without

Clay, Slip, Indian Ink, Steel cable I am looking to create a sense of uncertainty; an ambiguity of form and surface whilst attempting to capture a presence of life, movement, contained within a material hardened and far removed from its soft and transient origins. I attempt to distill a moment of transition, somewhere between becoming and dissolution; to create forms of internal and external spaces through which I can explore personal and collective experience.
