One of a series looking at old age, childhood & mother & daughter relationships, using imagery from family archives. The piece uses acrylic & watercolour paints on canvas. The paisley elements were chosen as they were my Mum's favourite print, but I made the artwork at a painting camp in India where the designs originated & bear a different significance, commonly used used as henna tattoos.
