These three textile sculptures are based on ancient stone carvings found on churches, castles and other important buildings of the medieval period. Posed ironically as the Three monkeys who 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil', a phrase often used in the Western world to refer to those who deal with impropriety by turning a blind eye.[4]
